Obituary for Carolyn Nogess

Carolyn Pierre Nogess, age 69, a lifelong resident of New Orleans, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2017. Daughter of the late Alexander Pierre, Sr. and Georgia Randolph. 1965 graduate of Booker T. Washington Sr. High and retiree of Medical Center of LA at New Orleans (Charity Hospital). Huge fan of NFL Football and NASCAR Racing. She is survived by her daughter Neshelle S. Nogess, former husband Carl S. Nogess, nephew Donald Maker (Polly) of Las Vegas, NV, members of the Swanson family and a host of relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her companion of 30 years, Henry Robert Swanson, Jr. and brother James Maker. Relatives and friends, members of Franklin Avenue Baptist Church, employee of MCLNO, St. James Parish School Board and members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. are invited to attend the memorial service on Monday Monday, March 13, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Tulane Memorial Baptist Church, 3601 Paris Ave. New Orleans, LA 70122. Pastor Ross M. Johnson, Jr. officiating. Visitation 9:30 AM, Service 10:00 AM Internment Private
