James Hulbert "Jay R", entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 24, 2017 at the age of 39. He leaves to cherish his memory his parents James and Arnetra Hulbert, grandfather Richard Smothers, fiancee' Cawanda Bonner, children James, Jamie, Semaj, Jayla, Vernell, Devonte' and Twynesha. His siblings Eveta McCann (Teddy), Sheline (Lorae) Hulbert and a host of other relatives and friends. James is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Willie Bell Smothers and Rosie L. Hulbert, uncles, Celven Hulbert III, Brent Smothers and aunt Patricia Henson. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life honoring Mr. James Hulbert on Saturday, December 30, 2017, at 11 A.M, at New Home Full Gospel Ministries, 1605 Robert C. Blake Sr. Drive New Orleans, Louisiana 70130. Visitation begins at 10 A.M. Interment, Lakelawn Park, New Orleans, Louisiana.
