Rosa Mary Collier peacefully entered into eternal rest in the comfort of her home on Monday, December 25, 2017. Mrs. Collier was a lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA. She was an active member and usher of Union Bethel Methodist Church, for over forty years, until her illness got the best of her. She leaves to cherish precious memories her five grandchildren, Jo Ann Thomas, Garvey Thomas III (Deonka Thomas), Tasha Thomas-Naquin (Oliver Naquin Jr.),Yolanda Thomas and Gerome Thomas Sr.; two sisters, Johnsie Lee Taylor and Ruby Williams (Jim); sixteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Family and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life honoring Mrs.Collier at Israelite Baptist Church, 2100 Martin Luther King, Blvd. New Orleans, LA 70113 on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 10 AM.
