Shermain Holloway, a loving; caring; strong-willed, ambitious diva entered into eternal rest on December 20, 2017, at the age of 53. Shermain a native of Laurel, Mississippi, was born on June 12, 1964 to John and Shirley Holloway. In 1969, the Holloway family made New Orleans, Louisiana their new home. Shermain leaves to cherish her memory parents John and Shirley Holloway; two siblings Rocky Sr. and Vonshey Holloway; two daughters Caze Holloway (Joseph Reynard) and Shana Richard; an unborn grandchild; her fiancé Aaron Lefort; two god-daughters Sanain Miller and Ciera Hampton; three nieces Leeshey Wade, Rocquelle Holloway, and Roche Wade; two nephews Rocky Holloway Jr. and Tavis Holloway; former husband Lester Richard; and a host of other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by two grandfathers, two grandmothers, a number of aunts and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life honoring Ms. Shermain Holloway Richard, at First Shiloh Baptist Church, 2507 Perdido Street, New Orleans, Louisiana, 70119, on Saturday, January 6, 2018, at 10 A.M. Visitation begins at 9 A.M. Interment, Providence Memorial Park.
