Ester C. "Winnie" Smith, age 81, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at her residence. Beloved wife of the late Warren Smith. She leaves to cherish her memories 7 children: Deiadre (Israel) Robinson, Troy Gibson, Lynell White, Arthur Smith, Glenda, Wynonia and Angie Cloud; 4 stepchildren, 5 siblings, 5 generations of grandchidren, 2 godchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Smith is also preceded in death by her daughter Desiree Cloud and 9 siblings. Relatives and friends of the family, also Pastors, Officers and Members of Greater Emmanuel, True Vine, Abundant Life Tabernacle and Mt. Carmel Baptist Churches, U.S. Postal Service, N.O. Hilton Riverside, Gwangi's Counseling Services LLC., Orleans Parish Juvenile Justice Center, Orleans Parish School Board, Leidenheimer Baking Co., Dept. of Public Works Parking, Concern Care Hospice and Compassus Hospice are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 10 AM at Greater Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church, 1803 N. Johnson St. Rev. Dr. Robert Meyers, Officiating. Interment Providence Memorial Park Cemetery Visitation 9 AM IN THE CHURCH.
