Tyra Lynn Matthews entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 26, 2018, at the age of 43. She leaves to cherish her memories her devoted companion, Orlando Barnes, seven daughters Teryllynn Mathews, Tyra M. Vanison, Cassandra M. Vanison, Errol'Nell Matthews, Tyra Nicsha Matthews, Johnnisha Matthews and Jo-Nisha Green; four sons Erroll M. Allen, Jonathan Matthews, Joshua Green and Lamar Isidore Jr. Four grand-daughters Tyryanna Vanison, Morgan Vanison, Logan Vanison and Ca'tyi M. Vanison. One grandson Michael J. Levasseur Jr.; her parents Sandra Mathews and Lawrence Jones; one sister Emelda; three brothers Robert Matthews, Lawrence Matthews and Jerome Matthews. Preceded in death by her brother Kurt Matthews. Also survived by a host of nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life, Saturday, February 10, 2018, at Charbonnet-Labat-Glapion Family Services, 1615 St. Philip St, NOLA, in the Chapel of Roses, 11:00 AM.
