Terry "Chump" Jason Bailey entered into this world on September 27, 1960 and stepped out of time into eternity on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at the age of 57. He was a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish. Loving son of Gloria Dean Smiles and the Rev. Raymond Smith. Step son of Joseph Lindsey. Beloved father of Terry (Akua) and Joel (Christen) Green. Devoted brother of Michael Williams, Wanda Douglas, Herman Peter Smiles, Joseph Smiles, Sharon (Keith) Brock and step brother Lionel Smith. Affectionate grandfather of Amani and Hakeem Duckworth, Cydney Doneley, Jaiya and Ceryn Green, also caring nephew of Doris Kennedy and Audrey Clements. Special and close friend to Jeffery Hughes, Lionel Franklin, Ellen Peterson and Stanley Bailey. Special motherly bond with Sophie Dominick and Berridel Johnson and godson of John Lee. Mr. Bailey is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Manuel and Eliza Bailey; paternal grandparents, Rev. Sam and Gladys Smith; aunt, Audrey Ceaser, aunt, godmother and second mom, Melver Sino; uncles, Manuel and Joseph Bailey. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Fannie C.
