Marion Theresa Belton, daughter of the late Emily and Oscar Belton Sr. entered into eternal rest on April 27, 2018, at the age of 88. She was the sister of the late Oscar Belton Jr., Leonard Belton, and Norman Belton. She was the aunt of Kevin Sr., Lynette Belton Evans (Henry), and Lisa Belton Cox; great-aunt of Kevin Jr. (Christina) and Jonathan Belton, Taylor Amos, Bria Martin, Kendall Harrison, and Kristen Cox. She was the sister-in-law of Melinda H. Belton, and Aldonia C. Winn-Belton, and the late Sarah Belton. Ms. Marion is also survived by a host of relatives, friends, church members, and sorority sisters. She was employed as a teacher with the New Orleans Parish School System form many years, church lecturer, Eucharistic Minister, and a member of her Church's Sodality. Marion was also a member of the Zeta Phi Beta sorority. Relatives and friends of the family, parishioners of Corpus Christi-Epiphany Catholic Church, co-workers, members of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, and employees of Chateau de Notre Dame are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial, at Corpus Christi-Epiphany Catholic Church, 2022 St. Bernard Avenue, New Orleans, LA, on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at 1:00 P.M. Visitation will begin at 12:00 P.M. Interment, St. Roch #2 Cemetery.
