Obituary for Michael Cayetano George "Boe Leg" Martin

Michael Cayetano “Boe Leg” Martin, age 50 was called to heaven Monday May 28,2018. A native of New Orleans LA, Michael was a dedicated and hard working employee of Citadel Builders for 14 years. In addition to working hard, he also lived life to the fullest. As an active member of the Zulu Social Aid and Pleasure Club, he was alluded the opportunity to participate in many functions and festivities that he enjoyed. Michael was also a dedicated family man, where he put family above all else. He was known for his loyalty, his love, infectious spirit, contagious smile, positive outlook on life and his firm belief in God.

Born on June 8, 1967 to the late Julia Ann Martin and is survived by his father Martin C. Blanco Jr. (Deborah). He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife Antoinette Michelle Martin. He is survived by his son Michael Ordon and daughter Chazmin Martin; four brothers; Terrance Martin, Martin C Blanco III,Jonathan “Fish” Martin, Detrel “Crick” Martin; two sisters, Kisha Hickerson and Elodia Blanco; four aunts; Elodia Blanco(Steve), Cheryl Hingle, Donna Martin, Brenda Tate(Zeek); one uncle Jules Martin III (Pamela), grandchildren; Miquel Ordon, Mikiyia Ordon and Michael Ordon Jr. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.Proceeded in death by his grandparents; Jules II and Geraldine Martin, Martin and Cornelia Blanco and one aunt; Doreen Martin.

Family, friends, members of the Zulu Social Aid and Pleasure Club, Citadel Builders employees, Regions Bank employees, and members of Franklin Avenue Baptist Church and Household of Faith are invited to attend his Homegoing Celebration on Saturday June 9, 2018 at Household of Faith
9300 I 10 Service Rd, New Orleans LA. Visitation begins for 8am and Services start at 10am ,Interment will be held at Lakelawn Cemetery.
