On June 30, 2018 Audrey P.J. Boyd, heard the call of the Lord, took his hand and proceeded into heaven. Daughter of the late Elijah and Mary James and wife of the late Perry J. Boyd, Sr. She leaves to cherish precious memories her daughter Kathy A. Boyd. Mrs. Boyd also imparted a spiritual legacy of life and love to her ten grandchildren: Edward E. Cazenave IV, Troy A. Cazenave, Ian A. Cazenave, Jacqueline C. Young, Shaun B. Williams, Shara S. Boyd, Chela E. Boyd, Jabaria A. Muhammad, Elijah C. Boyd. Seventeen great grandchildren, twenty six great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends. Mrs. Boyd is preceded in death by her husband, parents, two children, one sister and one grandson. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life honoring Mrs. Boyd on Friday, July 6, 2018 at 10 AM at Philips Memorial United Methodist Church, 3236 Burdette St. New Orleans, LA 70125. Visitation beginning at 9 AM. Interment Private.
