Joseph Louis Blazio, Sr. a St. Augustine High School graduate and retired Electrical Contractor; entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at the age of 80. Mr. Blazio was a retiree of the City of New Orleans, OCD Construction Unit, where he served over 20 years. He leaves to cherish his memory five children: Joseph "Joey" Blazio, Jr.; Kevin Blazio, Sr.; Stacy Blazio; Juan Blazio, Sr.; and Keith Blazio, Sr; Zoe Moses. His sisters: Shirley Gains, Audry Wilson, Ursula Harris, and Mirian Thomas. Joseph is also survived by former wife , Erna Blazio, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his former wife Adrienne Blazio. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial, at Corpus Christi-Epiphany Catholic Church, 2022 St. Bernard Avenue, New Orleans, Louisiana, 70116, on Saturday, July 14, 2018, at 10:00 A.M.
