Elder Miriam Ellen Bryant Vall entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at the age of 76. She leaves to cherish precious memories her children, John and Samuel (Mary) Roger, Sr., Tyrone (Shelita) Bowman; and Lisa (Joseph) Phillips and a daughter in law, Trudy Rogers. Fifteen grandchildren; Samuel, Jr., Leonard, Jr., Jacoby, Shawanda, Michael Jr. Rogers, Kendall Brandon Ruffin-Rogers, Durrell Fleming, Dwayne, Jr., Charles Jupiter, Sr., Tyriane (Joshua) Mouton, Sydnie, Taylor and Shelby Bowman. Elder Vall also leave to cherish twenty great grandchildren, four sister in laws; Louise, Bertha, Mary, Annie, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Elder Vall is preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Charles Vall, Jr.; son, Michael Rogers, Sr.; parents, Leo and Miriam Bryant, Sr.; three siblings, one grandson, John Morris (Sonny) Rogers and two great grandchildren. Family and friends of the United States Postal Service, Department of Homeland Security ICE., U.S. Army and Orleans Parish S. B. are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration Service honoring Elder Vall on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 1625 Annette St. New Orleans, LA 70117 at 10 AM. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM. Reverend Warren Lattimore, Officiating. Interment Mt. Olivet Mausoleum
