Obituary for Elaine Barracks (Pierre)

Elaine Pierre Barracks entered into eternal rest on Saturday, August 11, 2018. Wife of the late Moses Barracks, Sr. and daughter of the late Cyril Adam Pierre, Jr. and Bertha Pierre. Elaine leaves to cherish precious memories two children, Valerie Ann (Nathaniel) LaBeaud and Moses (Stacy) Barracks, Jr. Seven grandchildren, Travonda (Louis) Blase, Kendra, Moses III, Trakeida, Monique, Morgan and Moise. Six great grandchildren, Ja'Rayn, Jauan, Jarell, Jade, Jornee and Noah. Siblings, Milton (Nyra) Pierre, Jerry (Helen) Pierre, Delores Pierre and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Elaine is also preceded in death by three brothers, Gerald Pierre, Cyril Adam Pierre III and James Maynard Pierre. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life honoring Ms. Elaine Pierre Barracks on Friday, August 17, 2018 at Charbonnet Labat Glapion Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip Street, New Orleans, LA 70116 at 10:00 AM.Visitation beginning at 9:00 AM IN THE CHAPEL. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery and Mausoleum
