Lottie Bailey Winters, wife of the late Herbert H. Winters Sr, departed this life on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at the blessed age of 85. Lottie was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She enjoyed life to the fullest and was loved by many. She leaves to cherish her memories her children: Emily, Yolanda (Willie Lumpkin), Dorothy, Jeanette (Cantrelle Larkins Sr.) and Terry (LaShandra Winters). Six grandchildren: Cassandra, Latricia, Cheryl, Shaiyotta, Shamika, Cantrelle, Devon, Jacoby, Tionne, Kenterri and Demetrius. Three sisters, Geraldine and Inez, Evelyn (Andrew Jones); two brothers, Samuel Bailey (Rena Bailey) and Isaac Dunn. One god-son Anthony, one sister-in-law Patricia Bailey and a very devoted niece Terri. Thirteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Lottie was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert H. Winters Sr. Two sons Herbert Winters Jr. and John London Jr. Two grandchildren: Terrinique Winters and Harold Winters Sr. Her parents, Josiah and Rosetta Pearson Bailey. Five brothers: Toler, Major, Eddie, Everlee and Gilbert Bailey and two sisters Martha Herbert and Charity White. The family of Lottie Winters would like to thank Metairie Health Care, East Jefferson Hospital, and Serenity Passage for the care that was given to our Beloved. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life, at Corinthian M.B.C. 2601 Jackson Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70113, on Saturday, August 25, 2018, at 11:00 A.M. Visitation begins at 9:00 A.M. Interment, Providence Memorial Park, Metairie, LA.
