Obituary for Marlene Ellsworth (Millet)

Marlene Ellsworth Millet entered into eternal rest peacefully at her home surrounded by her family, on Saturday, September 29, 2018, at the age of 82. A native of New Orleans, Marlene graduated from Xavier Prep High School and also attended classes at UNO. Marlene was a devout Catholic and mother to many. Marlene leaves to cherish her memories, her beloved children Jennifer Boudreaux (Dwight), Cheryl Spencer, Charlene Millet, McKinley Millet Jr. and James Millet (Brena); 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; her brother Horace Ellsworth Jr.; one niece and a host of relatives and friends. Marlene was preceded in death by her husband McKinley Millet Sr., her son Anthony Millet, and parents Horace Sr. and Olga Ellsworth. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life honoring Mrs. Marlene Ellsworth Millet on Monday, October 8, 2018, with Mass of Christian Service beginning at 10:00 AM at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 2022 St. Bernard Ave., New Orleans, LA 70116. Visitation begins at 8:00 AM. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery, New Orleans, LA.
