Obituary for Virginia Mae Janeau

Virginia Mae Janeau entered into eternal rest peacefully, Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at the age of 77 surrounded by family. She leaves to cherish her precious memories her devoted husband Morris Janeau, Sr., two sons Morris Janeau, Jr., Christopher (Cyntrel) Janeau, two daughters Michelle (Carl) Majors, Viola Janeau, two godchildren Morris Joseph and Ernest Joseph. Siblings Sherman King, Jr., Herman Grady, and Gary Ray, one sister Felicia Ray, ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and host of cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. She was a retired employee of the Archdiocese of New Orleans, where she worked within the Nutritional Services Department as a cook and baker. Preceded in death her parents Sherman King, Sr. and Mable Joseph, brothers John Edward King and Raymond "Ray", Jr. and one sister Virgie Ray. Also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Abundant Life Tabernacle, 1701 Franklin Ave, New Orleans, LA. Visitation begins at 9:00 AM. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery, New Orleans, LA
