Ida Mae Mims entered into eternal rest on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the age of 77 at Tulane Hospital, New Orleans, LA surrounded by her family and friends. Daughter of the late Rosalie Thompson and Ernest Moran. Ida was a life long resident of Phoenix, LA. Wife of the late Jules Mims. Loving mother of Rhonda M. Picquet (late Warren Picquet), Monteka and Michael (Joyce) Mims and the late Rosalyn Mims. sister of Ernest Moran, Jr., Andrew (Shanna) Moran, Gwen Washington, Charles Moran, Charles Riley, Michael Moran, Martha Henderson, and Cheryl Moran. The late Roland (Laura) Tambrella, ET (Marcelle) Thompson, Kelly (Racheal) Thompson, Donald and Nathaniel Moran. Ida is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchild, 1 sister-in-law Florida Moran, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Christian Burial Mass on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 10:00 AM St. Thomas Catholic Church, 1760 Hwy 15 Pointe-A-La-Hache, LA 70092.Visitation begins at 9:00 AM.
