Monica B. Thomas "Pookie" entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at the age of 63.A long life resident of New Orleans and a homemaker. She leaves to cherish her memories her beloved husband Gregory Thomas and one son Chris Michael Thomas. Sisters Myra Dunnaway, Marilyn Variste, Yolanda Butler, Shona Butler, Shelita Butler Self. Brothers Don Demyers, Eugene Butler and Darryl Butler. Preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Ida Mae Butler. Also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Charbonnet Labat Galpion Funeral Home 1615 St. Philip St., New Orleans in the Chapel of Roses.
