Shirley Frank Johnson, a retired nurse, entered into eternal rest at home on Sunday, December 2, 2018, surrounded by family, caregiver and friends, at the age of 82. She was preceded in death by her parents Carroll Frank and Doretha Poree Frank; husband of over fifty years, Patrick Claude Johnson, Sr.; sister, Myrtle Frank Brooks; brother, Herbert Frank; niece, Carolyn Brooks Fortune'; and brother-in-law, Nathaniel Brooks, Sr. She leaves to cherish her memories, a devoted niece, Stila Brooks, devoted nephew, Nathaniel Brooks, Jr. (Darnell), devoted nephew-in-law, Lucious Fortune'; a step-son, Patrick Claude Johnson, Jr. (Denise); caregivers, Ronald Hampton and Cynthia Foy; as well as a host of great nieces, great nephews, other family members and friends. Relatives, friends, priests and parishioners of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, and Notre Dame Hospice are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1923 St. Philip Street, NOLA, at 11:00 AM.
