Gregory McKinley "Bird" Williams, a retired contractor, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at the age 67 surrounded by family and caregivers. He is proceeded in death by his father, Joseph Williams; sisters Yatter Griffith; brother Troy Williams; son in law Cedric Burgess. He leaves to cherish memories, his wife, Cora F. Williams; mother, Doretha Williams; four daughters Yakaba Williams, Uchenna (Geneva) Vincent-Hudgins, Kinshasa Burgess, Toccara Fairley; two sons: Wade (Angel) Johnson, and Joseph Fairley; two sisters Loretha "Ree" (Marshall) Jackson, and Deondray "Deedy" (Geoffrey) Alston; three brothers: Larry (Grace) Williams, Lumas (Ridell) Rose, Sterling "Sto" (Ebione) Williams. Family and friends, of Woldenburg Village, Ferncrest Manor, Grace Outreach Center, Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, and Jefferson Parish Sheriff Department are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 10:00am at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, 1737 L.B.
