Mrs. Zetella Wesco Jones passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late Maxie Jones, Sr. Daughter of the late Alex Sr. and Bessie Wesco. Devoted mother of Cassondra Davis Burton, Umar "Detrick" (Khalilah) Kashiff and Yolanda M. Johnson. Stepmother of Maxie Jr., Alfred (Patti) Jones and Marie Bradley. Loving sister of Bernice W. Riley, Alma W. Jackson and Alex Wesco, Jr., the late Leonard Wesco, Voncile Ward and Mary Ella Veals. Cherished grandmother of three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Also survived by sister and brother in law, Gwendolyn Wesco, Percy Jackson and a host of neices, nephews, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, Pastor, Officers and Members of Austerlitz Street Baptist Church, St. John Divine Missionary Baptist Church and Greater Emmanuel Baptist Church (Picayune Mississippi) are invited to attend the funeral service at Austerlitz Street Baptist Church, 819 Austerlitz St. New Orleans, LA. 70115 on Saturday , December 16, 2017 at 11 AM, Rev. Edward Parker, Jr., Officating. Interment St. Roch Cemetery and Mausoleum. Visitation 9 AM IN THE CHURCH
