Janice Forney Nero entered into eternal rest on Thursday, March 15, 2018, at the age of 64. She was the beloved mother of Anita Nero-Arbuthnot, Charles Jr. and Brad Nero. Grandmother of Edwin, Charles III, Charlize, Nyla Lee Nero and Terry Arbuthnot, Jr. Wife of the late Charles P. Nero, Sr. Daughter of the late Dennis Forney and Rosemary Olidge. Sister of Nancy and Emma Olidge, the late Robert Griffin, Dennis, Lawrence and Lionel Olidge and Barbara Sanders. Mother-in-law of Terry Arbuthnot, Sr. and Ashley Lee. Sister-in-law of Rita Holmes, Katie Webb, Kendra Nero-Cannon, Tammy, Danny and Jesse Nero, the late Doris Thomas, Patricia Bland, Ruby Lee, Joseph, Ronald, Randy, and Thomas Nero. Janice is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives, friends and employees of Texas Health Resources Hospital, Arlington Memorial Hospital, John Peter Smith Hospital, Texas Healthcare Pharmacy, Tulane Lakeside Hospital and CSI are invited to attend the Celebration of Life, at Charbonnet Labat Glapion, 1615 St. Philip Street, New Orleans, Louisiana, 70116 on Friday, March 30, 2018, at 10:00 A.M. Visitation will begin at 9:00 A.M. Interment, Providence Memorial Park, Metairie, Louisiana.
