Lisa Ann Thomas Jenkins., a resident of Gretna, LA entered eternal rest on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at the age of 57. She was employed as Assistant Vice President of Liberty Bank & Trust Company. Lisa is the daughter of Augustine and the late Oliver Thomas. In addition to her mother she leaves behind to cherish precious memories, her husband Jeffery Jenkins; Children, Jerell, Chad (Brittany) Jenkins and Jawan Copelin; Grandchildren, Riley and Bailey Jenkins; Siblings, Laronda Kellar, Lynette and Kenneth Thomas. Also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Lisa was a member of Marine & Mt. Moriah Community Church in Jefferson, LA. Relatives and friends of the family; Pastor, Officers and members of Marine & Mt. Moriah Community Church, Zion Hill Missionary and Pentecost Baptist Churches; The United Baptist Association, Inc; Staff of Liberty Bank & Trust Company, Charbonnet Family Services, Charbonnet-Labat-Glapion Funeral Home, Touro Infirmary Infusion Center and Members of The Crescent City Funeral Directors and Morticians Association are invited to attend the funeral. A Celebration of life honoring Mrs. Lisa Jenkins will be held at Marine & Mt. Moriah Community Church, 3034 Andover Street, Jefferson, LA 70121 on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 10 AM, Pastor Donald Robinson, Officiating. Interment Lake Lawn Cemetery and Mausoleum, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. NOLA 70124. Visitation 8:30 AM IN THE CHURCH. Mrs. Jenkins will also lie in repose at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 1126 N. Robertson Street, New Orleans, LA 70116 on Friday, June 22, 2018 from 4 PM until 6 PM.
