Terry Lynn Davis-Vigne was born on July 10, 1957 in New Orleans, LA to the late Albert Davis and Joyce Marie Davis. She transitioned to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 28, 2018 in Stone Mountain, GA. Terry graduated from Alcee Fortier High School in 1975 and studied accounting at Xavier and Loyola Universities. She moved to Atlanta, GA in 1985 with her daughter. While living in Atlanta, Terry met the love of her life, Dean Vigne, whom she married on August 12, 1995. She was formerly with Suntrust Bank where she spent nearly ten years in accounting and most recently she worked with her daughter at Davis Professional Services as a consultant. Terry was a very compassionate, loyal, fun-loving person who met no strangers. She had a personality that instantly made any and every one she met feel like family. Terry had a heart the size of Texas which she gave unselfishly until she had none left for herself. Terry is survived by her husband Dean, daughter Kimberly Davis Jones (Brian), mother Joyce Davis, sisters Shelly Davis and Erin Davis, brothers Clarence Russ (Tracey), Lyle Johnson, and Frank Johnson, Javelyn Davis (niece) and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Edward and Ida Johnson, and her mother-in-law, Wilma Vigne. Relatives and friends are invited to the Celebration of Life on Saturday, July 7, 2018, at 11:00 A.M. at Charbonnet-Labat-Glapion Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip Street, New Orleans, LA 70116. Visitation begins at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery No. 3 in New Orleans. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Feed the Children foundation.
