Sylvia Ann White, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 04, 2018 at the age of 60. She was a native of New Orleans, LA but resided in Houston, TX since Hurricane Katrina. Daughter of Rose C. West and the late William E. White, Sr. She leaves to cherish precious memories her companion Arthur Ware, four children, Karen, Samika, Tia White, James Mable III and the late Tory White. Seven sisters, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. She also leaves to cherish precious memories a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, relatives and friends. Ms. White was preceded in death by her two sisters, Bernadine Johnson and Sandra White, brother John Calvin West, grandmother Martha West and niece Nicole Ann White. Staff and Employees of MD Anderson Cancer Center, QuVa Pharma, Walmart, Assist Meds and Ora Vista Baptist Church are invited to attend the Celebration of Life honoring Ms. Sylvia, on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Charbonnet Labat Glapion Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip Street, New Orleans, LA 70116 at 10:00 AM. Interment Resthaven. Visitation 9 AM IN THE CHAPEL
